Good Hospital, Partnership Learning and Medical Education Centres [MEC]

Phased internal alterations to two occupied educational buildings at Good Hope Hospital, to enable both buildings to remain functional during the works.

The work was phased to allow the centres to continue working as normal, so our project manager liaised with the principle contractor, site managers and staff to formulate and agree a programme of work to access to carry out the works, while minimising disruption.

Work was carried out to upgrade existing electrical services including general LED lighting upgrade, small power modifications and new LED emergency light fittings that communicate their status via a wireless mesh network to a remote gateway, which controls all emergency testing and reporting automatically.
