St Martins All Through School, Moors Bank Oswestry, Shropshire

Project Summary -

Refurbishment of 3 Existing Areas and a new build extension to create an All Through School in Oswestry. The project included, Replacement of the Main Incoming Switchgear (Removal of exposed fuse rack and jointing of PILK Cable). Sub-mains Installation, Distribution Boards (MCCB Panels & MCB Distribution Boards), Lighting Systems including general, emergency & external, Small Power; Boiler Controls Installation, Complete new Addressable Fire Alarm System to the whole of the school, Fibre Optic & Data/Comms Installation.

The project incorporated the following works -

• Stripping Out and Modifications of Existing Services
• New Distribution and Switchgear to suit
• Small Power
• Lighting, including Emergency Lighting
• Fire Alarm
• Intruder Alarm
• CCTV modifications
• Voice/Data
• Induction Loop
• All Associated Containment
• All Electrical Works Tested and Results Recorded

All installed items meet the following standards -

• BS 7671:2008 (amendment 1:2011)
• BS EN 61439
• BS 5424 (Parts 2 & 3)
• BS 7430

R.D. Jukes & Co. Ltd. worked closely with the services Design Consultant and Principal Contractor to deliver this refurbishment project for St Martins School.
